Government Polytechnic Girl's Hostel is situated within the Institute campus , within 2 minutes walking distance from the main Institute building.  It has plenty of open space around the building.
The hostel is equipped with facility for Indoor games like Chess, Carom, Table Tennis & Outdoor Games like Badminton .Construction of another 50 Seater hostel is under process.

Capacity
Government Polytechnic Girl's Hostel consists of Ground plus one storey. Each of the floors consists of around 12 triple occupancy rooms for the students. The Hostel can accommodate around 72 students.

The rooms are provided with cupboards for each of the inmates. Each room is furnished with  study tables, with Formica top and side drawers,  chairs and cots with mattresses.

Mess
The Mess of the Government Polytechnic Girl's Hostel is situated on the ground floor of the building. The mess is running on Co-operative basis with current monthly charges around 600 INR/PM.

Fees
Students are charged a fee of Rs 100.00 per year as boarding charges. The Electricity & Water charges are variable depending on Hostel Electricity & Water Consumption. Presently 1200 INR/Year is taken as Electricity Charges.

The criteria for admission to the Hostel are based on Merit Basis. Some seats are reserved for students belonging to SC / ST / OBC / Persons with Disability.
